Good quality no issues with these strings

I have being using these strings for a while and find them good.

A very good match for the individually selected six strings on my 12 string guitars

By

These GHS strings play and sound equal in tone and volume to the individual strings required for the custom-selected set required for the electric 12 strings. Getting harder and harder to find individual strings in selected gauges. The pre-selected and pre-packaged electric 12 sets are different from what I use. The difference creates a different and unbalanced sound. These GHS Boomers along with six individuals create a sound similar to a professional choir. The harmonics are evenly matched without a louder overbearing voice conflicting with the mix.

These are my favorite strings. They just perform well and don't break easily. However, but, they used to be packaged in bulk. So the price seems to have gone up a bit. And they used to be packaged in paper. Now there is so much plastic wrapping to discard in our landfills.

Love these strings

I'm 72 years young, last time I played guitar was 50 years ago. I just restarted playing two years ago. Buying a Peavey Raptor, a Peavey VIP 1 amp. From there I built 1 DIY Bass kit (a copy of Fender Jass Bass) and 1 DIY Les Paul kit. All my guitars have GHS strings, with my arthrist in my hands and these strings help.

I don't like the new packaging.

I've been using these strings for years and I like the strings, BUT: I was disappointed that the most recently purchased items came in a hard to open package and in addition, each string was individually wrapped in a sealed (hard to open) plastic sleeve. Originally these came in a hard plastic jacket with paper sleeve envelopes (OK). Then came with sealed string pack and paper sleeve (less OK, but OK). The current method has a much bigger amount of waste (NOT OK). GHS seems to be going in the opposite direction on recyclable materials! Changing strings at home is a pain, but not a big problem. That occurs when I break a string on stage and have to fumble around with the packaging. I realize this is not your fault, I do like the strings, but in the future I'll be switching brands. There are plenty of alternatives out there. Thanks.
