Toggle Switch Knob

About This Item

Plastic knobs thread onto our 3-way pickup selector toggle switches.

Knobs with 8-32 thread are for Switchcraft toggle switches,
standard in Gibson® and other American guitars.

Metric knobs with M4 x .7 thread are for metric toggle switches,
popular in guitars made outside the USA.

M3.5 x .6 thread knobs are for modern Epiphone switches.

Color-matching Cream Parts and Bindings
There have always been slight variations in the color of the cream plastic parts used on Gibson and other guitars. It's not uncommon to see brand new and vintage guitars with bindings, pickup rings, toggle switch rings and pickguards that don't perfectly match in color. We do our best to match all our cream products, but there's no absolute control from batch to batch, or from supplier to supplier.

Guitar upgrade

By

Verified Buyer

I ordered this tip for my LP kit. I was upgrading from Ivory to black. I ordered this part as part of the upgrade, however, it was too large for the switch shaft So Stewmac quickly refunded the purchase price. Wish it would have worked, but I am happy with the way Stewmac handled the situation so I rated the part 5-stars as I believe that had the hole diameter been the right size, I would have just what I wanted.

Perfect fit!

Perfect fit, threaded right on to the AGC switch i bought. The amber colored darkened the look of the other cream parts in contrast and “vintage-fied” the look of my Epi Les Paul. Good Stuff.

Onr More Box Checked On My Project

By

Verified Buyer

My most recent project was making some aesthetic changes to an Epi Dot neck to make it look more like late 50's/early 60's spec. Obviously, I don't expect to fool anyone (nor would I want to). Thankfully, I research all purchases I make, however small. When I started this project, I never dreamed a tiny cream colored cap could turn into such an issue. It didn't appear to be an issue until I reached the StewMac website. This is the only site (out of at least a dozen) I viewed which even made it clear how many different threads and styles were available depending on the brand and style it was meant for. Not only did they clearly state this, the brand name was right there beside the product. It seems like such a small thing, but StewMac probably saved me at least a week of frustrated waiting. When you're the one waiting, you know the difference.

Thanks guys;
Will

I liked the color, but this doesn't fit on my 75 Les Paul Custom, just so you know.
