NoJak Endpin

About This Item

De-electrifying your acoustic guitar? Replace your strap jack with our unique NoJak endpin and restore the traditional look.

No woodworking, gluing, plugging, redrilling or reaming—the NoJak endpin fits the same 1/2"-diameter hole. The Allen-adjustable expansion sleeve gives a secure fit. And if you ever decide to plug in again, swapping back to your strap jack is no big deal.

Guitarmakers: The NoJak endpin lets you drill the same hole size for all your acoustic and acoustic-electric models, with no additional reaming or tapering.

The NoJak Endpin was designed by the Stewart-MacDonald R&D team.

The pin slides into the 3/4"-long plastic expansion sleeve, and adjusts from inside the guitar with the supplied black metal screw. 5/32" (4mm) Allen wrench required.

Fit like a glove

Perfect fit for the whole the output jack was in. Even without the tightening screw. Fit in the hole solid and doesn't budge.

Reverse Allen screw?

Could this be designed so that the Allen screw is recessed and facing outward to avoid having to go inside the box? Seems like it could easily be done...just sayin’

Certainly solves my problem of plugging half inch holes on my acoustics. Highly recommend!

Works As Described

I was tired of the endpin jack working itself loose on my Epiphone Hummingbird Pro. Since I never play plugged in, I took out the electronics and used this product to attach a standard strap button in place of the endpin jack. Make sure you have a long allen wrench of some sort. Also, a wife's skinny arms may come in handy.

Well Done . . . Except

Be aware that this doesn't fit all holes. My Alvarez had a hole that was slightly smaller than the sleeve that comes with this end-pin. I ended up tossing the sleeve and just using the end-pin itself with a washer on each side. Still works fine. Also, my 4 1/4" long Craftsman Allen / Hex wrenches just barely got me to the hole from the inside, and that's only because I'm 6'4" and have longer hands than most people. It would be nice if this Nojak came with a long Allen wrench for the install. Either that or do away with the Allen wrench screw and use a bolt head instead that people can use a nut driver with.

Just what I needed to fill in the dang giant end pin hole left after removing that pick up!

Great fix!

This was the perfect fix to replace the end pin in my ‘78 Martin D-35 after removing a pickup that I installed several years ago. The NoJak Endpin was a little bit of a tight fit, to start, on my guitar...but, I took my time, worked with it, and got it in, no problem. Seems to be working just fine. Thanks StewMac!
