NoJak Endpin

About This Item

De-electrifying your acoustic guitar? Replace your strap jack with our unique NoJak endpin and restore the traditional look.

No woodworking, gluing, plugging, redrilling or reaming—the NoJak endpin fits the same 1/2"-diameter hole. The Allen-adjustable expansion sleeve gives a secure fit. And if you ever decide to plug in again, swapping back to your strap jack is no big deal.

Guitarmakers: The NoJak endpin lets you drill the same hole size for all your acoustic and acoustic-electric models, with no additional reaming or tapering.

The NoJak Endpin was designed by the Stewart-MacDonald R&D team.

The pin slides into the 3/4"-long plastic expansion sleeve, and adjusts from inside the guitar with the supplied black metal screw. 5/32" (4mm) Allen wrench required.

Just what I needed to fill in the dang giant end pin hole left after removing that pick up!

Great fix!

This was the perfect fix to replace the end pin in my ‘78 Martin D-35 after removing a pickup that I installed several years ago. The NoJak Endpin was a little bit of a tight fit, to start, on my guitar...but, I took my time, worked with it, and got it in, no problem. Seems to be working just fine. Thanks StewMac!

My acoustic had the LR Baggs M1 pickup. I wanted to remove it and the NoJak endpin fit perfectly with no extra drilling required.

Just what I needed

I bought this along with the 4mm gripper truss rod wrench as shown in the "how to" video. Together they were the same price (or lower) than the price for just the endpin at other sites/stores. Very easy installation! I recently purchased a Martin JC-16RGTE and a previous owner had removed the electronic internals, including the output jack. This NoJak endpin was an inexpensive solution. Thanks!

quick and simple solution

I bought this for a quick solution for a Martin 000 that had been living without a strap button since I swapped out the pickup. I just needed a temporary solution as I am putting in another pickup. I realized I had reamed out the previous hole to only 15/32" (all that was needed for the Fishman Rare Earth Blend when I installed it) and the NoJak requires a 1/2" hole but that was an easy fix. I will toss it back in the tool arsenal after the new pickup is installed as it will be needed again at some point. One star off for no tortoiseshell option to match the Martin...but nobody but me will notice.

Great end-pin fix!

I recently purchased the NoJak endpin to reverse the end-pin jack install in my J-45, I needed to change strings so I did the install while the strings were off. I didn't have a long allen wrench and couldn't quite reach the inside to tighten. I was able to clamp my allen wrench with a needle nose vise grip and that did the trick. I also added a dark tortoise Waverly strap button to the heel of the neck to complete the instrument. I love the NoJak!

worked perfectly in 1945 D-18

the existing hole was 1/2" diameter and I was able to adjust the screw so that I could press it in from the end for a tight fit. I did not need to turn the screw from the inside through the soundhole. Bonus!
