Crafting a perfectly shaped neck is an intricate task. Once you're happy with the shape, removing rasp and other tool marks is challenging when sanding by hand. Applying uneven pressure can easily remove too much material causing bumps, dips, and lumps.
Bob Benedetto solved this with his innovative sanding block. The unique neck-shaped profile ensures even pressure and prevents accidental changes to your perfectly sculpted neck. The 1-1/4" (31.84mm) deep sanding radius accommodates most standard 6 string guitar or bass necks (wide classical and 7-strings necks excluded).
Stress-free sanding
Simply attach 80-grit 3M Stikit Gold Abrasives to the inside, and the block quickly removes tool marks with even, consistent pressure. The solid weight and radius lets the tool do the work and the comfortable shape makes sanding a breeze. Whether your roughly shaped neck is done with a rasp, drawknife, file, belt sander, or CNC machine, it quickly prepares the surface for final sanding.
