The built-in screw allows installation in the guitar's neck heel, for secure strap attachment without stressing the neck. A Felt Washer is recommended to protect the guitar finish.
TIP: Pre-threading the mounting hole will help you avoid twisting off the button during installation. We recommend our Strap Button Drill Bit and Tap.
The Endpin Grip is a great way to hold the button securely for ding-free installation or removal.
