StewMac Miter Blade for Binding

One of the surest signs of quality guitar building is clean, perfect miter joints in the binding. No matter how carefully you build, when the miters aren't sharp it makes a poor impression.

Guitar repairman and builder Dan Erlewine came up with this clever blade for use in your drill press or our Fret Arbor Press. It's extremely sharp and cuts wood or plastic bindings in one clean stroke.

"For wooden bindings, I cut first with a fine saw then use the Miter Blade to shave it to the precise miter." — Dan Erlewine

Sturdy brass housing with 3/8" (9.53mm) shank.
Stainless steel blade is 3/4" (19.05mm) wide.
Blade can be removed for sharpening.
