Good replacement hinge By Gary from Newington, CT Thursday, November 3, 2016 Verified Buyer I had an old average quality Les Paul size hard shell case -- nothing fancy. One of the hinges broke. This worked fine as a replacement. It was very hard to put on, but that is not the fault of the hinge, but just the difficulty of getting behind it on the inside of the case under the lining and getting the tiny nuts on the little bolts I used. Once I got it firmly attached with the four nuts and bolts, though, I think it is going to stay fixed. I put heavy tape over the nut ends on the inside of the case to protect the guitar.
