Hidden excellence in this design

By

Only four stars cause I don't like the size of the wood screw. But I guess I'll get over it. Haven't installed it yet - you best believe I'm going to be very careful about how much meat is in my JS2410 headstock. So, on to the coolness factor... Here's what you DON'T see: The parts that hold the allen key in place consist of a small set screw on either side, which compress SPRINGS, that hold captive two BALL BEARINGS! The hemisphere of the bearing securely holds your allen key in place. It's simple engineering that works beautifully. At first I thought it was just a metal set screw against a metal allen key. "How the heck is that gonna work without constant adjustment?" I thought. Don't be afraid to push past the resistance. It's spring loaded. It's a good design.

Nice and sturdy construction, lightweight, glossy fishing. The opening for the keys are adjustable which surely helps.

Pro quality!

This one is the best I ever had to install! It has internal (adjustable) springs that hold the wrenches in place, and the main piece has two tiny “pins” at the bottom that prevent it from rotating. I am thoroughly impressed!

Must-have convenience

I bought a guitar many years ago that had one of these already installed and I've been hooked since. If you have a Floyd Rose bridge this is the greatest; the wrenches are literally at your fingertips whenever you need them.

I really miss the Trem Tool. I still have 1 on a tele with a FR Original and wish they were still available. Not a big fan of putting holes in a brand new $1000 Jackson but its done and its a nice thing to have. Wrenches when you need them.......

Excellent and very, very good. Just for to make a great team with Original Floyd Rose. If you have a guitar with Floyd Rose, you should have a PRG Allen wrench Holder in his head stock.

A "Must-Have" If You Play With a Floyd Rose.

This is another one of those cool, inexpensive gadgets that take the hassle out of keeping your ax purring like a kitten. I don't know how I got along without one of these all those years. No more looking for the right size Allen wrench in the bottom of the tool box. It keeps the right size wrenches right on the back of the headstock where they are available in seconds. No more guessing on the sizes. No more excuses for not having your Floyd Rose system adjusted to perfection at all times. Some of the best money I've ever spent.
