Authentic surf-era technology! High quality steel pivoting bridge and spring-action tremolo, as originally designed for Jaguar® and Jazzmaster® solidbody guitars.
The bridge features the original pivoting design: the support posts fit into recessed body bushings, and rest on height-adjustable Allen screws. This lets the bridge pivot with tremolo movement for a more accurate return to pitch. Six individual threaded steel saddles allow intonation setup and minor string spacing variations. Saddle heights are Allen adjustable.
String spread: 2-3/16" (55.56mm)
Post spacing: 2-7/8" (73.02mm)
1.5mm Allen wrench adjustment (wrench not included)
Chrome, with body bushings included.
Recommended mounting holes for bushings:
11/32" (8.73mm) diameter
13/16" (20.64mm) deep
The tremolo is complete with Phillips spring tension adjustment screw and a fingertip lock button, an original feature not found in other reproductions. The chrome unit installs over a routed body cavity. The pivoting steel arm extends approximately 8-3/8" (212.73mm) with white plastic knob. Mounting screws included.
