Strap Stoppers - 4 Pack

About This Item

The simplest, easiest strap lock. Nothing to install.
These stretchy rubber discs keep any strap from slipping off. They're like the cap gaskets found on Grolsch beer bottles, but ideally sized for strap buttons.

Put your strap on, then add a Stopper over each button. Your strap stays put!

"I prefer to keep my guitars original, even changing the strap button bugs me. Strap Stoppers are a reliable way to secure the guitar, keep everything original, and not scratch the finish in the process."
—Erick Coleman, guitar repairman and StewMac tech advisor

Outer diameter: 1" (25.4mm)
Inner diameter: 0.300" (7.62mm)

Jumbo size is great for fluted Fender-style strap buttons.

Inner diameter: 0.350" (8.89mm)
Thickness: 0.134" (3.40mm)

Great for securing straps to a guitar that you don't want to modify for whatever reason.

cheaper than buying the beer

These are a cheap and easy idea that works....Grolsch beer bottle stopper gaskets are where this idea came from, and the beer is pretty good, but you ruin the bottle if you remove the gasket. then you can't use the bottle for salad dressing or making your own homebrew. The gaskets will wear out eventually if you use them over and over, so now you know where to get more.....for you guitar strap wink wink

Simple concept and they work great !

Not a lot of Science involved. You put them on and they work !

I have a few guitars that I take the straps off and on - so, these wouldn't work (they aren't supposed to). But, for the guitars that I leave the strap on - a cheap and simple solution.

I have a Gibson Custom i did not want to alter so i picked these up. I have recently tried the Fender version of these and found they stretch out in a short period. These seem to be of better quality. They are very convenient

Work Great!

I've been using the actual Grolsch washers for several months. I've been wanting them in black and am happy that Stewmac carries them. They work just like the originals except these are a little softer and more flexible making them easier to put on and take off. Highly Recommend.

Wish I knew about these before I dropped my guitar.

These are an awesome cheap alternative to strap locks. I have one guitar with small strap buttons that still slip off but as long as your strap buttons are large enough to hold them on they work great.

not bad

These can be hard to get on your strap button depending on the button and the thickness of your strap. If you have enough room, these are a nice, simple solution.
I thought the red ones might be nice looking - they're not.
Wish I got the black ones, tho they would be hard to spot on the floor of a dark night club.
