You can’t beat the quality

The quality and color of these pins are a really nice touch when doing bone nut and saddle upgrades.

Great quality, but needed some tweaking

Got two sets for my Alvarez Yairi DY-76 12-string to replace the original plastic pins. They rode too high, so I spent a few hours reducing the diameter with a file & 120 sandpaper to get them to seat at an acceptable height. They're great quality, all uniform with beautiful inlays, but just needed some tweaking.

Bone bridge pins - easy upgrade

By

I installed the Waverly bone bridge pins (slotted) on my Martin HD-28V and 00-28. Both guitars have bone nuts and bridge but plastic bridge pins. I had to widen the slot for the HD-28V as it has medium gauge strings but otherwise the switch was easy. The tone is brighter and more defined and I'm very pleased with the outcome. Definitely recomend

Fantastic quality as you could expect from Waverly

Super well machined, tight tolerance pins. Abalone dots are nicely polished. Only concern is that the slots are deep, I dock the tips and sand the thin web on the cove of the pins flatter to prevent the edges from chipping and to lock the ball ends more securely. Couple of swipes on the P220 sanding pad is all it takes.

They sound lovely!

By

They are very handsome and my guitars now have a clearer, higher quality, and more pleasing sound. Notes have greater clarity and less mush. I liked them so much I ended up putting them on 4 different guitars! If you like bone nuts and saddles you will LOVE how these improve the sound of your guitar.

Great pins

Easy install, though I'll have to do some sanding the next time I change out strings to try and get these to sit down a bit more. Massive change to the sound even after I upgraded the nut and saddle to bone. Guitar sounds more full, especially in the mid range.

Happy with my purchase

I will be using the bridge pins on a tenor Uke... Koa body with a mahogany neck..
Ebony bridge with bone saddle... I have used paua shell as a rosette around the sound hole so these bridge pins will accent the uke perfectly...
Also I will be using ebony for the finger board and adding paua as fret markers.. so it all will enhance the instrument well..
Waverly is quality!!
Of course since its for a uke I will only need 4 of the pins... so with the next purchase of these pins I will have 2 sets instead of one!!

Enjoying the bone bridge pins, not sure if it makes a difference in sound but I like them better than the plastic pins
