Traditional water or oil-based fillers have been the standard for decades, but they shrink as they dry, and dry very slowly. You'll spend hours applying, waiting, sanding, and applying again. Not anymore.
No more shrinking!
SilverTip does not shrink as it dries, what you see is what you get. It's applied just like traditional fillers: just mix, apply, and scrape off the excess. It's a fast-curing epoxy that has 35 minutes of working time, it's ready to re-coat in 3 hours.
Unlike regular filler, you can re-coat it WITHOUT sanding—saving you hours of time. You can easily do two coats in a day. It cures completely in 24 hours. It's also completely clear, not amber tinted like most other fillers, giving you total control of your final color.
It works with the most popular guitar finishes, such as nitro, shellac, polyurethane, waterbase, and more. It's also compatible with all sandpapers.
Add color to pop the grain
We use our Inlay Filler Colors to color the filler to accentuate the grain. On figured or colorful woods we recommend using it without color to match the surrounding wood.

Pro tips from Robbie O'Brien:
- Measure resin and hardener with a Glue Syringe for exact amounts
- Mix in a 2:1 ratio by volume in a Mixing Cup
- Throughly remove excess filler while still wet
- After cured, use 320-grit sandpaper and sand back to bare wood
