Rock-n-Roller Neck Rest

About This Item

Self-leveling to hold any guitar or bass!

These self-leveling contoured wooden neck cradles are "the neatest neck rests I've seen," says repairman Dan Erlewine. Heavy-duty cork-lined Rock-n-Rollers hold any guitar or bass neck in position for inspection or for routine minor repairs.

Rock-n-Rollers hold any guitar or bass neck in position for inspection or for minor repairs. They're useful additions to any repair bench or music store countertop. The shorter model has been redesigned to fit a wider variety of solidbody models, from Fenders to Les Pauls®.

Super Supporter

By

Verified Buyer

When support for working on the neck or headstock is needed, the Rock-n-Roller gives great support.
Leveling and crowning frets, filling a new nut, leveling a fret board, adjusting the truss rod, or replacing strings on a guitar are some of the things that the Rock-n-Roller has helped me with.
Great product, StewMac!

Simple must have tool

I could have easily made one if these but figured the price is right compared to my time to make one.
If I later want another one, this will make the perfect template.

When you centrally place the Neck Rest it makes minor fretwork and truss adjustments easier because there is no gravity pressure on the neck. You only need a small mat under the base of the guitar and the back of the finish is safely above table debris. Also elevates the headstock for fast restringing.

The Rock-n-Roller Neck Rest has become one of the staples for many of the everyday maintenance and repair jobs. It is simple, it is safe and it is very convenient. I wonder what I did without it!

Takes a lot of the fiddling out of holding a neck still and wind strings....

Very useful tool to hold a guitar steady. You could use a bag of frozen peas as well I suppose, but that would be like drinking a single malt scotch in a coffee mug - and everyone knows that’s just not right,

Does what it's supposed to do

Bought the set for acoustic and electric. Used it already to work on my acoustic. Much more stable and adjustable than what I was using before. I expect the same for the smaller one. A little pricey, but its a keeper.

These work great. On the good side you lay the guitar on it and it instantly adjusts to be rock solid...easy. Also on the plus, I feel you can get at the neck and frets more easily than with some other neck rests because it's so narrow. On the down side, the Rock & Roller does not keep a guitar real stable if you flip it over, whereas, I find some wider rests can do that.
