StewMac Super Glue

About This Item

Speed your work by hours! Our super glues are first choice in guitar shops, thanks to fast, incredible bonding strength for repair work and instrument making.

10 Thin penetrates close-fitting wood joints and fingerboard cracks. Water-thin, it's great for fast minor drop-fill repairs on guitar finishes, too. Cures in 3-5 seconds, for a strong moisture-resistant joint.

20 Medium is our general-purpose super glue. A bit thicker, best for small imperfect joint gaps. Cures in 10-25 seconds.

30 Thick has epoxy-like gap-filling consistency. Cures in 30-50 seconds to allow joint repositioning.

Be ready for any repair situation that demands a fast permanent bond. Spend less time setting up clamps and waiting for other glues to dry!

  • Jigs

  • Inlays
  • Finish touch-ups
  • Nut slot repairs

Bonus! Each bottle includes 3 free Whip Tip nozzle extenders for precision gluing, and 1 clog-free stopper which has a tiny pin to prevent clogs.

Each 1-ounce bottle is the practical size to minimize shelf life problems. To maximize shelf life, store super glues in a cool dry place.

Warning! Super glues bond skin and eyes instantly. Use in a well ventilated area. Keep out of the reach of children.

Have used this product several years now. Flows great and sets up quick with their spray set. Use it to fill dings. Thin (10) is outstanding for weeping into cracks. Highly recommend you try it.

Number "10" is Perfect for Shallow Cracks and Fills

By

Verified Buyer

"10" is the perfect thickness (really, thinness) for very shallow / small defects and crack fills. Use "20" for deeper ones. Worked perfectly with the sanding sponges (1500 to 12,000) grit and sandpaper finish set.

Pegas increíbles.

By

Verified Buyer

Pretty essential

I got some super thin. Pretty handy, especially with stew Mac pipettes to get it where you want it accurately. Very useful for all kinds of repairs and uses in the shop.

I need to get the other viscosities, too.

Neck Nick Repair by the Video

By

Verified Buyer

I used this to repair a nick in my guitar neck using the same principles Dan gave in his video for fixing a chip in a guitar body. It worked much better than expected. When sanded and polished out, you cannot tell the nick is there other than the discoloration.

not just for instruments.............................

By

This may sound nutz...but along with instrument repairs.....etc. I use the 10 and 20 superglues for finishing the flies that I tie commercially...and I use the white and brown based superglues to fill minor S cracks in the bottom of ceramic pots....
At present I am using the thin # 10 and the medium # 2 for some crawfish flies and to fill the spaces in my older Warwick Infinity fiver that seems to "open up" in the climate where I live...it works great and does not frost up as do other brands of superglues....
I like the # 2 as when it is relatively fresh ( new )...I can apply it to the heads of my flies..which makes them bullet proof...it is absorbed well into the underlying tying materials and produces a nice clean glossy head on the flies...the superglue can frost up after the bottle has been open for a while and the superglue begins to thicken....I have tried all manor glues on my flies...this is the BEST one I have ever used....just a note....the # 10 really pernitrates and secures materials..it does not produce a gloss finish but like the # 20 glue...(the 10 is very fluid and will make a mess if you are not careful..)....the # 10 also creates a bomb proof finish....so just a little dab will do ya...

Glue works good, but be careful about the finish on your guitar.
