Electric Guitar Shipping System

About This Item

Take the pain out of shipping guitars
Let's face it. Shipping guitars is a pain. It's hard (and expensive) to track down a box, buy the necessary packing materials—tape, peanuts, etc. By the time you're done you've got the better part of an afternoon frittered away, and you've spent enough for a nice meal just getting the guitar in the box! And…this doesn't even account for shipping fees.

We feel your pain. That's why we teamed up with Aeris to make the easiest AND safest way to ship any guitar, acoustic or electric, whether you ship it with OR without a case.

This particular set is for shipping an electric guitar in a case or bag. However, if you're looking for a solution for shipping without a case or bag, we have those sets as well.

Here's how it works!
First our boxes ship to you folded in half––this makes them much less expensive to ship, more convenient to store, and easier to handle.

But don't let a folded box fool you. This system includes a structural support that not only reinforces the box at the fold, but also locks the guitar in place, making the box super strong and keeping your guitar super safe! This ingenious little device secures the most critical part of your guitar—the neck!

But, a great shipping solution is more than just a box.
Peanuts are the worst! They're messy, expensive, and horrible for the environment. Packing paper shifts around in transit and doesn't offer much protection.

Aeris designed brand new, state-of-the-art inflatables that are tough as nails, light as air, and offer the most protection we've ever seen. The headstock is locked in place with a top-hat pad, and the base padding protects the guitar from drops and rough handling.

You can customize the inflatable supports to fit any guitar or case you have. They inflate easily with our hand pump or your own compressor. It only takes minutes and they stay inflated for years! (Try that with bubble wrap!)

If you need it, we've got air filling solutions that work perfectly for these inflatables.

And they're economical too!
When you add up all the hours, gas, and money you'll spend buying boxes and packing materials (that really don't work that well), you're actually saving money with this one-step system.

So now, with one purchase, you're ready to pack and ship any guitar. Just grab your tape and you're good to go!

    Perfect Packing System!

    Verified Buyer

I just want to tell you about your packing system - it totally rocks!

I just got back from Australia and I bought back my custom bass and my old Strat with me as checked baggage using your packing system and guess what? Zero damage, not even a (new) scratch on either instrument. The inflatable endcaps are brilliant, self-sealing and stayed inflated over several weeks with zero leakage. I used the spare endcaps as padding around the middle of the cases.

I taped both boxes together (combined they still weighed under the 50lb limit) and checked them in in Brisbane a couple days ago and today they are both back here in Houston safe and sound, still almost in tune even! Very happy customer right here.

So thank you very very much for such an innovative and common-sense product, well worth the $95 for such peace of mind. (I bought the hand pump with it)

    Outstanding Packaging!

Shipped an gigbaged guitar to the west coast and the owner replied that he had never received a guitar in better shape. Never shipping any other way!

    Not a good experience

    Verified Buyer

I bought a 6 pack for shipping electric guitars in a case. I shipped a Les Paul in a standard Les Paul case. Bottom wrap seemed fine. Then put in the center support which seemed fine although the guitar had a bit of wiggle room. Put the top cap on and still had way to much wiggle room. I put some newspaper in the top but still way to much shifting. Had to unpack and use a ton of newspaper. I pumped these pillows up good but no dice. Huge waste of time and money for me.
Suprising extra shipping fee even though I'm a member = not good
Didn't work anything like the video = not good.
Guess I had high expectations so this waste of time and money just ticked me off.

    Poor instructions for rectangular cases

    Verified Buyer

I was expecting great things from this very expensive (at least in the UK) shipping system. I purchased a six pack for shipping electric guitars and used one today to ship a guitar in a rectangular case. The instructions say "simply replace the bottom wrap by the inflated bottom end caps for rectangular case" when actually both the bottom wrap and the top hat need to be replaced by a bottom end cap. They also tell you to flip the bottom end case inside out after inflation, without any explanation why, although it fitted my rectangular case whether it was flipped or not. The instructions also do not tell you to omit the centre box beam for a rectangular case and I spent some time searching the packaging for a non-existent centre box beam with a hole in it large enough to pass over a rectangular case. Because of the crease in the middle of the folded box section, the walls of the box are not held rigidly away from a rectangular case and, in retrospect, I wish I had added some bubble wrap between the box walls and the case. It would seem that this system is better suited to shaped guitar cases than rectangular cases in it's present form. Hopefully this will be addressed in the future.

Very high quality piece of kit!

First of all, I haven’t purchased any of these but have been the lucky recipient of a guitar that was enclosed in one these. The guitar and packaging arrived in perfect condition, so I cannot honestly provide an example such as “the box was crushed and the guitar survived” kind of thing. But I can tell you the guitar case was securely centered in the box and the ends could have taken some serious impact due to the inflatable inserts. The staff at the UPS Store were also very impressed. This is as good as it gets.
