Beautiful bridge pins

By

Verified Buyer

Quality of work and materials was excellent. They were just slightly tight and high so I chucked the head of the pin into a battery drill and held the shaft of the pin with sandpaper. Spun the pins and kept checking depth to perfect fit. It was my personal guitar and was more interested in speed than appearance, however, the marks were extremely small and not noticeable at all once installed. Holding them in my hands and looking hard with reading glasses I can just barely make out the marks left by the drill chuck jaws. A small piece of chamois or tape should prevent any marks at all. Install using the drill was a major time saver.
Once installed, the ebony pins gave a more woody tone to a guitar that was a little too bright and tinny. The ebony pins took the edge off of the brightness and she sounds really nice now. Highly recommend.

These fit perfectly out of the bag into my Taylor GS mini. They add a little more clarity to the bass but also help to articulate the mids and highs. Thank you Stew Mac!

These pins are of very good quality and look great. Very pleased.

The guitar is a 2004 Martin 00-18V and the pins fit perfectly.

Superb quality parts

Bought this rosewood bainding and ebony bridge pins for a new myrtle wood OM. Quality is outstanding, binding bent like lasagna noodles and installed effortlessly. The best part is the attention to specific request for sturdy packaging. A previous order got bent in half by the post office, leaving me with nicely segmented rosewood pieces! Thanks shipping department!

Replaced my 1983 Alvarez Yairi pins

By

For some reason, maybe just age, my old Yairi started kicked out it’s non-slotted Ebony bridge pins. I measured the old pins and ordered these slotted ones. I had to sand them some very carefully - spent about 10 minutes per pin and kept test fitting them until they were perfect. Restrung the guitar, and after about 10 days now, it has stayed almost perfectly in tune and it has not popped any of them out. I think problem solved. One thing and this is very minor - is that the Ebony in these pins is not quite as black as the original pins on the Yairi. But, it is hardly noticeable and does not bother me. I know it is due to the state of ebony now and it is good that they are using lesser black colors and not letting it go to waste. For anyone curious, the pins are still black, just not quite as black as some ebony. I am happy - problem solved!

Waverly ebony bridge pins with shell inlay

By

Not as thrilled as I wanted to be. The wood seemed neither as dense nor as well-machined as I expected and I have replaced quite a few bridge pin sets over the years. I don't think these will be staying in my Martin 000-28EC for long.
