They sound great, feel great, and the flux on the pots makes it a bit easier to solder.

The only issue that I had was that the LP kit comes with a wiring diagram. The pots come with a diagram. The pickups I bought (Seymour Duncan blues 59) came with a diagram. And each of them had several variants.

Technically all were wrong.

I had to solder 3 times to make it work. The "alternate wiring" diagram that is supposed to make each volume and tone independent didnt work.

I ended up using the diagram that came with the pickups that had the traditional wiring diagram and then made a few small changes and it worked, but the volumes are not independent.... like "traditional".

But I can live with that.

Also I ended up using part of the wire that came from the LP kit in conjunction with the braided wire kit because I couldnt figure out how to have enough wire to wire it. I'm sure it's there but.... I dont know... if I had another 2 feet or wire that would have been preferable.

None of the instructions were abundantly clear.

It took several days, YouTube videos, and trial and error to get it to work, but once it did, it sounded amazing.

this is a really easy to use kit. I rewired my old les Paul clone which had a terrible cut out issues. It took me a lot less time than I expected and the results were impressive, it is like a new guitar again.
The only minor issue was the switch was a tad to deep for the guitar body, I was able to grind away som thicknes on the inside of the cover panel to allow it to fit, i'm really pleased with it.

Seems a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. Easy to solder, solid components.

Worked As Advertized

I used this kit to upgrade my Korean made Epiphone 56 Goldtop. I ordered the longshaft pots which fit perfectly (length wise) as did the selector switch. As stated by others, the holes will need to be reamed a bit.

Everything you need in a wiring kit

I ripped the PCB and all the electronics out of a newer les paul, rewired it with this kit, everything worked just fine save for the 3 way switch, it worked but it was so tight and the stock 3 say switch was a little shorter in length. This kit is a great buy and I have to give a shout out to the shipping department, one day from USA to Canada shipping, really excellent.

Great kit

I purchased this for a Gibson epiphone e335 deluxe that I was given. The switch is too short for this application. I was able to make it work with some alterations. I don’t think I would have made those same alterations with one of my regular Gibsons. It improved the tone tremendously over the cheap pots that were in it. I would absolutely use the kit again.

Good quality.

Bought this for a 2012 epiphone les paul. I knew I was gonna need some slight modification to make the pots fit. But the toggle switch they send will not fit on an epiphone. You need the short shaft switch.

Oscar Schmidt upgrade

Used the Les Paul wiring kit to improve the electronics on a Oscar Schmidt 0E-40. Sound improved dramatically. Great quality parts though for this application one should order more shielded cable.

Great quality parts

The parts quality is very nice and the sound after completing the wiring is beautiful.
A novice might have some trouble with the wiring diagram depending on pickups etc.
