Build your amp the right way
Solid core wire is preferred for amp building—it stays how you bend and shape it, keeping your amp chassis neat and tidy.
Get the colors you need
Color coding your wiring makes it easy to build and repair amps—you can troubleshoot each circuit without confusion. You'll also match vintage amps for invisible repairs and mods. Many builders use different colors for grounds, heaters, power supplies, and other essential circuits.

This unshielded single conductor wire is tinned, with a white celanese wrap and waxed braided cotton outer insulation. The cloth insulation simply pushes back to expose the center conductor wire. Solid core wire is traditionally used for amp building, but will be an upgrade to any wiring project.
