Great wire for guitar!

Like other reviewers have said, just trim to desired length, push back the cloth insulation, and your good to go! Pre-tinned wire is a nice touch. Flexible, yet sturdy, it makes a good connection!

Great look for Vintage resto...

Not much to say about this, other than it certainly helps an instrument retain its "vintage-ness" during repairs (or in my case, building a replica!).

Easy to work with (simply cut the length you need, back up the cloth and solder!).

There's a reason it's called 'pushback'

Okay, for the benefit of folks who don't know (I was one of them), you don't have to strip the ends like you do with a normal cable. Just push the cloth back. Once I knew that, all my wiring now look like it came off of a technician's bench from the 50s. Highly recommended.

Update Project

I recently replaced the pots on my 72 Stat as the originals were quite worn. I decided to up date the wiring and remove the often underused 5 way switch for the original 3 way. I bought more than I needed, but thought... the Strat sounds good again, so why not do the same to the 8o's Gibson "The Paul". I feel really good about these easy to use hook up wires. I am glad that I have extras....Maybe the Les Paul and Rick are next on the bench!
