StewMac Bind-ALL Guitar Binding Glue

About This Item

Fast-setting glue for instrument bindings
For gluing plastic bindings to any tonewood. Bind-ALL is the first choice of major guitar manufacturers. Now available in a convenient tube for small shops.

Holds bindings in place while you work
Bind-ALL's high tackiness helps you position long strips of plastic binding. Bindings stay in place instead of slipping, giving you time to apply clamping bands or tape.

Use Bind-ALL for gluing all these bindings and trims:
  • ABS plastic
  • Celluloid nitrate
  • Butyrate
  • Vinyl

Permanent bond to all tonewoods
Creates a high-strength bond to all tonewoods, even oily hardwoods like rosewood and cocobolo. Sets in just two minutes; fully cures in 12 hours.

Good for binding repairs, too: keep a tube on hand to fix loose or missing bindings.

Bind-ALL is the same glue used by major manufacturers. StewMac is the only place you can get it in a handy dandy squeezable tube (it’s usually sold in glass jars or cans to be brushed on, which gets messy real fast).

WARNING! Contains solvents that will damage nitrocellulose lacquer and other finishes. Use with care around finished instruments.

Store at room temperature.

2.4 fl. oz. (71ml) tube.

Better Than The Other Stuff

This new Binding Glue is much better than what they use to sell. I had no problem getting the binding to stick and stay at all with this. Excess sanded off clean after it was dry. All in all happy with it.

A great product!

Purchased this product to glue binding and purfling on a 000 kit build. It worked great. It flower in the channels smoothly, and set up quickly, but not too quickly to make adjustments and tape the bindings into place. It was messy on my fingers, but they cleaned up with a little time and some dish washing after dinner. It wipes away easily when still wet; and i scrapes well when cured. I used blue tape to mask right up close to the channels to prevent it getting on the wood outside the channels, and I used StewMac binding tape to hold the bindings and purfling in place.

Bind all glue

This glue works superbly. It doesn't run like acetone c a, and wood glues. Reasonable open time, quick, strong, tack, easy cleanup.
I do wish that the nozzle was smaller far a more controllable bead.

It really is the best there is for binding. It cures quick, but not too quick. It's pretty much perfect in my opinion. I wouldn't change a thing about it.

Good binding glue

I have not used this on a new build or binding up and instrument for the first time but I do like the way it bonds to the plasttic. I have a ton of martin warranty work with binding coming off and it has done ok with that but the solvent in the glue has to be respected. I give it a thumbs up rating for sure

Great product, very nice!

I just finished a Martin binding repair, a job we have done with Duco Cement for three decades - the passenger side back had shrunk and pulled away at the waste. I separated it from behind the heel, cleaned the surface, and started tacking down the binding wiping excess, and used the new low tack tape. The job end very smoothly.
The shrinkage gap behind the heel cap was filled with a binding sliver and melted material, then the entire strip was drop filled and polished out over the next week.
Overall, it was a very nice and clean repair.
Highly recommended!

I've used several types of solvent glue and CA over the years, but this glue was the closest to my own home brew "binding goop" I've yet used.

Dries fast, easier to clean up than CA and makes a very strong bond.

It is just a bit less viscous than I'd like, but so far that's my only nitpick.
