StewMac Pocket Stand

About This Item

Never break a headstock again!
Have you had the terror of a headstock break when your guitar slipped? How many times have you gone to a jam or gig and found no safe place to rest your guitar between sets? Tired of dents and dings on the back of your guitar's neck?

No longer! The StewMac Pocket Stand will literally save your neck. It's easy, throw it in your gig bag and you've always got a solid place to lean your guitar (or bass). It's cheap insurance against expensive repairs and heartbreak.

Safe and simple peace of mind
The StewMac Pocket Stand turns any flat surface into a rugged stand. It's made of finish safe (even nitro!) heavy padded plastic with internal metal weights to stay in one place. The bottom has a high grip exterior to lock onto surfaces like a chair, table, amp, anything flat you can find.

Bonus! In a pinch, the handy shape works as a convenient neck support that'll work on any bench or table top. Use it to change strings or other simple jobs. Given how convenient it is, there's no reason not to keep a few in your gig bag, car, or case.

Grab a Pocket Stand and jam anywhere.

Surprisingly effective

As an acoustic player who normally has two instruments at a session I found this stand to work great on a tabletop or chair seat. It's lighter than I expected, but also pricier. Still, I might get another.

This Pocket Stand Rocks!

I loved the idea when I first saw it so I bought two of them. I am always leaning guitars against something and these save me the time of balancing it perfectly and then worrying about it falling over. They work perfectly. They even work okay on the shelf of a music stand. (Not quite as steady as an amp or counter top.) I might buy a few more as gifts for my guitar playing friends and band mates.

Works very well and can fit in your guitar case pouch or a crowded gig bag. It was lighter than I thought it would be, but the design makes it sit securely on your amp. Great job!

Great Idea!

I saw these and thought I would try it out. I typically leave guitars leaning against my sofa or something else when I need to step away for a spell. These I place on the edge of my coffee table and now have a secure way to prop my guitar up when I need to. I assume they would work as well on an amp but my amps are stacked too high so I haven't tried it on an actual amp. I suspect it would work as well.

Simple and Works Well

I bought one of these because my tripod stand took up too much room in my recording space. I use this on the edge of a bookshelf next to my desk and it works perfectly. When the stand is in position with a guitar leaning against it, the stand stays in place really well. I've got a hardwood floor, and was concerned the end pin might slip on it--it never did, but I put a 4" square of non-slip rubber on the floor for peace of mind. If you're using this in a carpeted place, this wouldn't be an issue at all. I've found the Pocket Stand surprisingly effective. A+ for StewMac!

works great for ukelele, not long enough or tall enough for big gibson accoustic at coffee table. Gave one to my son. will see what
he says.

Wish I had it one day earlier

I'm constantly leaning my guitar against a desk or an amp, but it has proven to be a fateful mistake several times. The StewMac pocket stand works just as advertised. It has good weight and the covering is grippy.
No longer will I precariously balance a fretboard and slippery strings against whatever is available. The StewMac Pocket Stand will save thousands of guitarists from the ache of dings and dents that could have been avoided.
