This set is a must-have! Be ready for practically any hardware on any guitar, from tuners to bridges, tremolos to pickguards, pickups to tailpieces, and more.

The Guitar Tech Screwdriver Set replaces a whole drawer full of tools. We've included 36 essential bits for fretted instrument hardware, plus an easy-grip handle with extender. The entire set comes in a durable compact spill-proof latching hard case that fits nicely into your toolbox or guitar case (take it along to your next playing gig).

You won't find it at the hardware megamart, or anywhere else but here at StewMac.

Contents:
6 Phillips bits: 000 • 00 • 0 • 1 • 2 • extra 1
11 Allen bits: .050" • 1/16" • 5/64" • 1/8" • 5/32" • 1.5mm • 2.0mm • 2.5mm • 3.0mm • 3.5mm • 4.0mm
11 flat-blade bits: 0.8mm • 1.2mm • 1.5mm • 1.8mm • 2.0mm • 2.5mm • 3.0mm • 3.5mm • 4.0mm • 5.0mm • extra 3.0mm
Capture bit: 5.0mm non-slip flat-blade bit helps protect small screws and finished surfaces. A StewMac exclusive!

"The capture bit in this set is freakin' awesome! How many times have I had to fix a ding because my old driver slipped."
—Mark Dalton, Huss & Dalton Guitar Co
Adapter for 1/4" sockets: use with your socket set to install tuners and jacks
Mini wire brush: remove corrosion from bridge saddles and more
Awl point: mark starter holes for drill bits
Hardened screw starters: #2 • #3 • #4 • #5; pre-thread screw holes in wood

Handle:
The 4-1/2" easy-grip handle has a rotating cap for fingertip control. It's red, so it won't get lost on a crowded benchtop. The interchangeable steel bits snap easily into the magnetic shaft, and a handy 1-3/8" extender gives extra reach when you need it.

Case:
The latching custom hard case is a mere 5" long, and fits conveniently into a guitar case or gig bag pocket—great for backstage setups and emergency repairs on the road. The case holds the bits snug so they won't spill out. Sizes are marked on the bits, and a handy chart in the case lid helps keep everything organized and easy to identify at a glance.

Stays in slot well. Tiny handle though. Could use a beefier handle.

Extremely good set,the right sizes for almost any luthiers needs all in one convenient compact case.the capture bit and the screw starter bits are particularly nice to have .if they help you prevenT.
Damaged or a stripped or broken screw even just once they already payed for themselves in time
And trouble avoided.

Must Have For All Guitar Players!

If you're a guitar player you need to buy one of these. It's small and compact but packed with a ton of different sized bits. Better yet, buy two and keep one at home and one in your gig bag. Wish I would have had this 50 years ago when I started playing guitar and doing my own set ups. Thank you StewMac for a great product!

You can't ask for a better luthier screwdriver set. Every tool has a guitar related use. This one was very well thought out. What I really like is that I can take a screw and size the correct bit while they sit in the case. I no longer have to pick up several screwdrivers to find the right size. I have limited space in my workshop, so this small case free's up a sizable space in my toolbox drawer for the million and one things I need. Thanks, Guys. You make my life a little bit easier.

It's a very good little basic+ set in a compact box at 1/10th the price of the big bench set.

Dare I say it, buy two of these. This is a lot cheaper and a lot less worry than leaving the Brownell's set on the bench. I can get just about anything basic done with this and keep the $500 set under lock and key for the expensive instruments. It fits in some guitar cases and in the leather tool bag, which the bench set is NEVER leaving the tool box or bench. It's not "everything everything" I need in a screwdriver kit, but I am not working on an old Martin, Stauffer, Vega or other prized heirloom instrument very often. It's far better to wear these out than the extensive kit made for master gun smiths. The quality is quite good but not great. The gimlets are a nice feature (screw starters) and they are fixed at standard screw thread pitches and sizes which is a definite plus. We also use a French gimlet set and Japanese Kiri drills. The flat point drivers are sort of hollow ground so they are less likely to damage the screw heads. The $500 kit must have over 40 flat tip drivers. This kits covers over 95% of what those will. If it's a little wobbly, I will go get the pricey kit. That doesn't happen very often., If I am working on old Brass screws I will usually grab the expensive kit anyway. Expensive? Not really. I paid $500 for a kit that only does screws.

Shockingly invaluable!

I was surprised to find out exactly how small and compact this set was when it arrived. In fact I almost sent it back, but gave it a go and now I wouldn’t give it up for anything. I use it when doing any repairs and setups. I have been able to put away all those various little Allen wrenches used on saddles, put away all but one Phillips head screwdriver, and gained the benefit of a compact and neatly lated out tool. In fact, I am considering ordering a second so I can leave one on the bench and keep the other with my gear.

I have another small, compact set that cost half but not nearly the quality of the StewMac branded set. This set is worth every penny, plus a few more!

A really great kit

Quite frankly I debated for a long time whether to buy this kit or not. I already had lots of screwdrivers, wrenches, sockets, etc and didn't need any more. Just extra clutter on my already crowded tool bench, I thought. But I was intrigued by the screw starters because I was tired of stripping the heads and having the screwdriver slip off and scratch the guitar finish, or having the screw heads actually break off.

Well, the screw starters, the non-slip flat blade bit, and the very, very nice case are well worth the price of admission. All of the other fine bits are just frosting on the cake.

This kit has just about everything you'll ever need and it's all in a very nice, compact, and handy case. Keeps everything right at your finger tips nice and neat.

Thanks, AGAIN, StewMac for a great product.
