What a great collection of skills, directional illustrations, and guidance in one book. Very easy to follow at any level of expertise and suggested in that order of operation. Chapter to chapter this book is well thought out.

Great udated content and organization

My 20+ year old copy of the first edition is getting a bit ragged and much in guitar technology & repair has changed in the years since. I like the easy/difficult/pro only organization-of course, you are free to try a neck reset but only with a junker! If I get half the enjoyment I did with the first edition I’ll be happy-and the 50% StewMAX discount is welcome.

As other reviewers have noted, I learned something new and very useful in just the first few pages. The writing makes no assumptions and carefully explains what to do and what to look for. I'm sure that it will prove to be a very useful reference.

I love this book! Dan, you did a wonderful job putting this together. I was an English Major in Technical Writing before I changed it to Computer I.T. I actually read a good portion of most chapters just looking for typos and things like that. It was really edited well. The text material is great for getting the job done, but also getting the job done WELL. I also appreciate the fact that you autographed it for me. And furthermore, I also love all of your video clips on many repair procedures. You are a great man to know. Ken DeWitt

A very detailed and concise tutorial in most common guitar repair scenarios. The
book is extremely well organized and the repairs very well described. A must have
for any serious repair shop or even any serious guitar owner. Very well done.
