Electrosocket Jack Mount

About This Item

Be done with loose Tele® output jacks forever!

Simply drill the two mounting screw holes, thread the jack into the Electrosocket, and screw it in place to hold the jack firmly in place for the next millennium. Handy for speaker cabinets, too!

Electrosocket Jack Mount for Tele® guitars accepts a standard 1/4" (3/8 x 32 thread) Switchcraft Output Jack (not included) and fits a standard 7/8"-diameter hole, without damage to the guitar.

Plating options: anodized satin (aluminum) or shiny plated brass.

Mounting screws included.

Great Solution

If you want to end the the old Tele loose socket prob this the ticket. Since my Tele is a custom Chandler I didn't mind the mod to an already custom guitar. Save your old "bowl type" if you have a classic collectable and you can always put it back since the screw holes are inside the access port!
Nice solid rig now. Done.
Thanks StewMac!

Great product.

These things are a must have for any Tele owner . Why Fender doesn't install these instead of the outdated troublesome old style I would like to know. I have these on all my teles and haven't had any problems.

Great Tele Jack

I've been using these for years. Excellent piece of hardware. The polished gold and chrome now match gold and chrome hardware much better.

Looks appealing, easy to use and needs no special tools. These are my preference.

Perfect Fit...AGAIN!

I'll install electrosockets in every Tele even if they don't need them; they make plugging in so simple without looking that it's another perfect fit...thanks!

Only way to go

Tele jack plates can be terrible. So long as you aren't putting this in a super vintage instrument, this one's the way to go.

Didn’t fit my Squier Tele

By

There was inly one jack mount for Tele so I got it. Don’t know if it threads onto a Tele jack but it’s a little too wide to thread onto the Squier Tele I have. I put it in snyway and seems to be keeping quiet.

2 kinds of Telecasters

By

There are Telecasters that have had this socket installed and there are the ones that NEED to have it installed (or will, sooner or later). The original design is sort of a legacy hold-over, virtually unchanged since 1953, and will eventually start to give problems. This new socket is much more robust, very easy to install and my early-design MIM Nashville Telecaster is back to it's old glorious self again! You might as well just get this before you actually need it so your Tele doesn't start shorting out on you in the middle of a gig!

Thanks to StewMac's detailed description, I was able to drill the hole before the Jacks arrived. Perfect fit!
