Excellent! Quality is good. Sound is good sweet jazz tone.
I bought these Ebony archtop bridges for Ibanez JP20 & Godin 5th Avenue Pingpin.I tried many kinds of Archtop Bridges for them, but these were not satisfaction for me. I found a Bridge of my favorite sound.

Excellent bridge!

Bought this to replace a flat bridge that someone had put on an old Kay (circa 1950) archtop. This high quality bridge required very little fitting and made a world of difference to the tone!

title is very good

I already had posts with adjusting nuts but I had to re-drill the bridge to make it fit. I used my drill press and it worked just fine. I also cut my own slots as the string spacing is 1 25/32 inches. It works good. It replaced a roller bridge that I couldn't get small enough.

Archtop bridge/gold thumbwheels and posts

By

Verified Buyer

Too bad it only came with chrome thumb wheels and posts. The gold plated wheels and posts had to be bought extra and had slotted screw heads which broke on one. The bridge is excellent quality however and gave me incredible tone! at least the thumb wheels hide the posts, hence only 4 stars. The bridge gets a 5

Great bridge

Rosewood and finish are top notch. My only small nitpick is that I'm replacing a tune-o-matic style archtop bridge, and this one is significantly higher, so I've had to sand down the legs quite a bit to get the saddles to the same height as the bridge I'm replacing.

Complete novice but got it to work.

I'm restoring a Kay guitar from the 50's. It desperately needed a compensated saddle/bridge. This stewmac one did the trick with a lot of sanding. Everything about it was too tall (feet and saddle) . I ended up keeping the original Kay feet because I didn't want to sand a full .5 inch off. I just sanded down the new saddle. In the end the sound of the guitar is much better.

Perfect archtop sound!

I just bought the rosewood bridge for my Epiphone Broadway, and it makes all the difference in the world. I had to sand the bottom to get the action to the right height, but after I did that, it felt and sounded fantastic.
