Extra buttons for your Grover Quick-release Strap Lock.Sets of 2.
I have these on every guitar I own..Nice soild feel when locked in. Trusted to work every time.
These are decent buttons that work with the old Schaller/Fender locks. As with the mentioned brands, the mounting screw may be smaller than the original on your instrument and require doweling and re-drilling the mounting holes.
These strap pins are excellent!
Have used these before, and will again
I bought a bunch of these in a variety of colors to match with my various guitars. They work great with my Schaller locks.I did have to modify the existing screws for my Les Pauls so they would fit inside the strap buttons. The included screws were not the correct thread size (Too small).
I bought these thinking they would work on my guitars. The wood screws that come with the buttons are too small of a diameter, as is the hole bored in the strap buttons. The screws removed from both my Fender and Music Man were larger diameter and the supplied screws were way too small and would not work. I had to drill out the button and use screws from my shop that matched the screws removed from my guitars and then grind down the heads to fit into the buttons, as I needed to keep the originals in case I ever get rid of the guitars. I love Stewart -MacDonald, but this was not a good purchase. I am sure they would work on a new body that has not had strap buttons already installed, but I still feel that the screw size is too small.
These are great and less expensive than Schaller's… They work perfect with my existing Schaller hardware.
If you use Schaller (Fender type) straplocks, these are compatible so just replace your buttons and your strap will work. I have them on 3 guitars and move my favorite Strap to whichever I want.
Very poorly designed and made. Grover should know that most of the OEM strap buttons our there use a no. 8 wood screw to hold them on. Grover supplies a no. 6 screw. To use them to replace an OEM button, you have to fill the hole, re-drill to a smaller size, or drill out the button so it can accept a no.8 screw. Very frustrating.
