Behlen Ground Hide Glue

mais je ne sais pourquoi ce melange est vraiment plus efficace que ceux que j'ai utilisé j'usqu'â présent . alors ,,,,j'en met partout c'est tellement plus facile à démonter et plus rigide !!

Really great product and I like that it comes in a can instead of a plastic bag. I watched the video from Dan and decided to give this a try and I am really glad I did! This is my favorite glue!

This is good glue.

Best glue I have ever used. Wish I had started to use it years ago. Well worth the time needed to heat it.

Good quality

It's very clean after curing, does not leave trace like Titebond or other glues. However, I have to clamp really fast, having ony 15 secs before it gels.

That glue is strong! Nothing more to say, that's a great glue.

I really like this product. I only mix small amounts for what ever job I need it for. Excellent strength. Great for sound board cracks to cello necks.

I was quite impressed with the hold and drying time of the glue. It worked very well on my old VIRZI violin and was very impressed with it's performance. I will buy this product next time I am in need of Hide Glue.

i havent used it to glue my guitar together yet but i did conduct a test ... i simply made a batch of hide glue in a jar and let it dry to a jelly-like consistency and cut out a piece and placed it on a paper plate to dry then i used the hide glue remaining in the jar as a mold and i poured titebond in thus creating a clump of titebond just like the clump of hide glue ... then i took out the clump of titebond to dry and when both pieces were all cured and dry i made attempts at breaking them ... the titebond broke very easily and as if it had dried into a very flimsy plastic which i broke into about ten small pieces by hand alone ... but the hide glue was unbreakable by hand and required a vice-grip and pliers to break.

if you ever have choice always choose hide glue ... only downside is it shrinks a bit more than titebond but not by much and this is definately not a problem if your guitars neck joint or repair site is well fitted
