Don't buy this or you will be sorry! The socket is very large and sloppy and may work well for bass guitars but don't make the mistake on using it on any guitar of value. I made the BIG mistake of using it on my then CHERRY 61 Gretsch Corvette. When winding the first string I noticed how sloppy it was and took extra care, but when winding the second string it slipped and left 2 semi circular scratches on the side of my headstock.
Handle pops off every use. If you need one for frequent or serious use best to get a better item. But, like another reviewer the pin pulling feature is handy.
This tool works well for me.The pin puller feature is worth the price alone.
This is a handy little tool I should have bout years ago. The price is just right for someone on a tight budget. It will make restringing my guitars a lot easier in the future.
I finally got around to buying the Dunlop after all the free winder/pullers broke or got lost. Winder bearing is nice & tight - likely to last a long, long while. Puller section didn't fit under acoustic pins until the leading edge was filed/sharpened. You should have one of these in each case, along w/ the needle-nose pliers and your hearing protection.
It is what it says it is, does the job fine. Great product. Awesome staff!
Awesome product, you turn it, it loosens your stings. Doesn't fit all tuner pegs, but works on most. Seems pretty durable for plastic.
Useful tool and great value.
