Essential Nut Making Tool Kit

This kit had exactly what I needed to tackle my first nut. I really like the simplicity and accuracy.

All of the items in this kit are needed to make a nut. Hence the name. These tools made the making of my first nut, in my new guitar repair shop ;almost painless. Moreover, the quality of the tools is great . They are also effective on projects other than guitars . Add them to your tool box . You will not regret it. The kit is expensive, but worth it . Plus, Stew-Mac also has excellent customer service.

Very nice tools, really all you need to make a nut from scratch or tweak a needy nut. Excellent quality; can't imagine not having this kit in my shop.

All you need for making and shaping nuts. The files are perfect for shaping and precision work and the spaceing rule is indispensable. I am yet to find a use for the feeler guages and saw, plus the vice could use some holes where you can mount it to a bench permanently, rather than using a clamp or putting it into another vice to keep it in place.

Personally had worked without these tools, I took a long time dividing the space between a String another, and never were perfect until I got the Essential Nut Making Tool Kit.
The kit is perfect and very easy to use.

With this kit I am able to make perfect nuts and saddles. And that was of course why I bought it.

The right tools made replacing the nut and saddle on my old Martin a breeze.

This kit is well designed and saves hours and reduces waste due to errors. I used it in conjunction with the Basic Setup Kit to sort out problems on a new mandolin and am delighted with the results. The mandolin now plays so much better with a great action and improved intonation. Highly recommended and compliments to Stewmac on getting this item all the way to Scotland in record time

Another example of a Stew Mac product which makes life so much easier. I've been using a hobby vice and cheaper files before I invested in this kit. Why did I bother? I wish I'd bought this kit months ago!
