Pickup Kit for Tele Bridge

I had a return customer call me with a project. He wanted a Tele. bridge build built to a certain spec. He had done a lot of research on his own and knew exactly what he wanted. So being the type that loves a challenge i knew the place to turn for the flat-work, base plate and mags was Stew Mac. The shipping time is great the kit arrived in two days. I inspected each part of the kit and as always everything was in order to build a perfect bobbin. Then it was off to the winder. the end result was a call from the customer and a face-book comment stating thank you Derek, its exactly what i wanted and sounds killer. For a pickup winder that is the best feeling. thank you Stew Mac for your ,fast service and well constructed kits.

It is not the best kit I've seen, but it was perfect for my first pickup!

This is a great kit - high quality all the way around. I've built a bunch of these kits, and they always turn out really nice.

I wanted to make "noiseless" Telecaster bridge picup, I could do it with this Kit: I had cut the flatwork in 2 parts and wind two 1/2 coil of 3 pole-pieces reverse winding and reverse magnetizing pole-piece like Fender precision bass pickup, and I glued the two 3 poles coils on the steel base plate. For the coil wire io used 0.04 mm wire diameter (wire for old needle galvanometer). The impedance of each coil is 12K Ohms. For the sound see :

I'm kinda frugel with my money so when I purchase the exact same product again, you can count on that I was 100% happy with it the first time. These pickups are the best sounding Tele pickups I've heard.

This kit is a great way to make an authentic looking vintage staggered pole Tele bridge pickup, from the string wrapping to the copper plated steel baseplate, everything you need is there. The convenience is great for a pickup maker like me, I no longer have to look all over the internet to find necessary parts, Stewmac has them in one economical kit.

Absolutely awesome. Customers love these pickups, but it is hard to see how you could go wrong.
