3M Gold Fre-Cut™ Sandpapers are luthiers' favorite papers for dry sanding. The premium aluminum oxide abrasive cuts fast and resists clogging, for better efficiency. Treated to help prevent "fisheyes" (cratering) in waterbase finishes. These papers last longer—we use them in our own shops.
Micro finishing papers are abrasives for water-sanding scratch-free finishes. Grit particles are uniform in size, virtually eliminating sanding scratches. Perfect for modern polyester finishes or traditional lacquered surfaces.
After sanding, use ColorTone Polishing Compounds to complete the high gloss.
