The cutters are really very nice. I had a bit of trouble though using them with the router templates. By the time I had them deep enough to follow the template on the bearing, I had accidentally cut one edge of the plexi template since the bearing had not yet met the required depth. After a few planned out adjustments I can compensate but I think I am going to go to a router guide instead of the cutter guided bearing

I have been building guitars for quite a number of years now, for the most part I have been using bolt on necks, for simplicity and as a time saver...but something just didn't feel right, it wasn't true to the art for me ..so I decided to go back to Dovetail joints. I purchased your Dovetail bit, and made the jig you show the plans for. The jig works perfectly,and the bit is extremely sharp and clean. I am very happy to have gone "Old School" I can always trust and rely on Stew Mac to carry the best.. you guys have never let me down
