Off-the-Wall Guitar Hanger

I have 4 of these hangers. They look good and work well for electric or acoustic guitars. Your instruments are a lot safer hanging on the wall than they are sitting on a stand at floor level. However, I agree with Gabriel that I did not have confidence in the screws provided, or in screwing them into plasterboard (that's drywall to you in the US) and then hanging an expensive guitar off it. Mine are attached with longer screws and through the plasterboard into the studs. Now if we have an earthquake the guitars will stay up while everything else falls down. I also agree with Michael that they are not as cheap as I might like. But I did come back and buy another one!

Although the screws provided seemed to be too small to hold up my 5.000 USD guitar. Wouldn't trust it.

Provided: Black with 25mm long, 3,5mm thick and
Used: Inox, 52,5mm long, 4,7mm thick.
Had to use screws almost twice as big!

I went for four stars just because of price. I think it's a bit expensive, but I love everything else about it. It's well designed, pivots, holds the guitar away so it's not rubbing the wall and it looks nice. If it's any indication of how well I like them, I have seven of them.
