Good switches

These are solid switches with generous solder tabs that are easy to work with. You can do some 3-pickup voodoo with the six-way, like getting the forbidden "Tele" setting, or funky series-parallel wiring.

Love it!

This fit in the 3 way switch cavity on my Gibson Les Paul. I built a custom 3 P90 Les Paul and wanted maximum options. This switch gave it to me. I have included the wiring schematic from Deaf Eddie for your 3 P90 project.

great for my project !

haven't wired it up yet. A good source of wiring options is Schatten's Advanced wiring projects, available from STEWMAC.

Nice switch, but won't fit some guitars

I've got a 4-pole 5-way switch to replace the 3-way toggle pickup selector in my PRS SE Custom.

Even if the switch is a nice one, I could not have it installed on my guitar. You'll either need to re-route the electrics cavity or relocate the tone control pot; but because the pot shaft is thinner than the toggle switch hole you may need to fill and re-drill the hole.

What a Switch!

I finally found the right switches that will fit in a small cavity. I needed these 4 pole 6 possition switches to do a special wiring on two humbuckers in a Les Paul Studio. It turned out great, so I bought one for my Tele, and used the same schematic, it came out perfect, and with different voicings than the Gibson. I know the difference is in the wood, design, and the pickups, but Stewmac.com has your Guitar Switches, and they are the Only ones who did have it. Thanks Stewart McDonald!

Single-ganged switch fits in thin guitars like the SG.

I was hoping to use the 6-pos 4-pole switch for pickup control (neck, bridge, parallel, series, out-of-phase parallel, out-of-phase series), but the double-ganged switches do not fit in my SG. I had to make do with the 3511, 6-pos, 2-pole, with a separate out-of-phase toggle switch, which works just fine.

The quality of these switches is great and contact noise is non-existant (unless you're playing while you switch, in which case you hear a "click"). .

Very quiet

I used a 3511 to build a varitone circuit which made me realize all caps sound the same when the tone pot is at 10, but that is a different story. The switch worked just fine. very quiet, I did not feel resistors were needed from each pin to ground to help eliminate switch clicking.

Great 3-humbucker switch!

Used the 5-way, 4-pole on a triple humbucker, double-cutaway custom guitar build, and it's working very well. Kudos to Stewmac for carrying these switches!
