Tortoloid Acoustic Guitar Pickguard

Tortoloid is a new pickguard material produced exclusively for us by luthier Mario Proulx. Made from poured resins and dyes, it combines the patterns and color of vintage tortoise shell with the stability of modern plastic. The process produces graceful flowing edges that give the appearance of a "finished-over" pickguard. Luthiers will welcome the superior color consistency, vintage look, and authentic shape.

Tortoloid pickguards reveal the warmth and beauty of your guitar soundboard. Like natural shell, no two pickguards have exactly the same pattern.

The Tortoloid pickguard features authentic vintage 1930s Dreadnought dimensions, approximately 7" x 3-13/16" x .030" (177.80mm x 96.84mm x .76mm), with 2-3/8" (60.32mm) radius at the soundhole edge.

We recommend our Pickguard Adhesive Sheet for installation.
