You asked for the best: CRL blade-style pickup selector switches have earned a reputation for heavy-duty durability, noise-free reliability, and ease of wiring since the early days of electric instruments.

CRLs from StewMac give you more: FREE knobs, a handy wiring diagram, and versatile extra-length stainless steel mounting screws (you can install the switch in a carved guitar top, as well as a standard pickguard or control plate).

CRL switches are now included in our popular wiring kits for Strat® and Tele®.

The best there is!

If you want a lever switch then use a CRL. Thats it. Other brands will work but if you go with a CRL theyll last and last and last. The material is easy to solder to since its not covered in residue like most other switches are.

way better than stock

I bought this to replace a switch in a 15 yr old Mexican Strat. The feel of this switch is much tighter than the stock - the overall quality seems much better than Fender's switch.

Great working switch to be sure...

Mechanically this is a beefy nearly indestructible switch. The only issue I had was the schematic for the 3 way 2 pickup set up was not exactly as the switch appeared. Once I got my perspective, I was fine.

Easy on the solder, partner.

This is a great, quality, affordable switch. It works as advertized. The only advice one needs to keep in mind when wiring up this switch is to not glob on the solder, as it can work it's way into the switch control and then the switch won't work. A little solder is all you need. I find that using smaller gauge silver solder works best, with a 30 or 40 watt PENCIL type soldering iron. You can't really use a big pistol grip soldering iron for this type of soldering. Hope this helps.

Nice and useful

I´ve bought this item just to simplify my HH choices.. Sanded the post a little bit in order to give enough room for a "Strat" cap. Once soldered, works very nice, without noisy transitions. But, what impressed me (the most) was his sturdy construction and its clean defined lugs. Many diagrams to solder by yourself if you have the skills!
