Ukulele Bridge with Saddle

Beautiful little bridges...I couldn't have made them better, and for 9 bucks....?! Buy 'em

nice for the price

I purchased the bridge for an S.S. Stewart ukulele. The bridge and insert are both made from quality materials and after some trimming the bridge will fit perfectly over the space where the old bridge was. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Very well made and the finishing is great, I didn't expect all that quality at this price.

Because I am known as a "uke guy," friends turn to me for advice and help. A friend brought me a very old, badly-mistreated uke and asked if I could make it playable. With help from the Ukulele Hall of Fame I sorted out what it was (cheap Oscar Schmidt) and when it was made ((around 1919). It was missing its original bridge and had a jerry-rigged mess in its place - this bridge covered up the worst of the mess.

Very good bridge for my Ukulele "gibson les paul", used this for soprano style and glued it and put two screws on it.
Holds great!

I recently built a Baritone Ukulele as a prototype for myself. I used the ukulele bridge, binding, and tuning machines from StewMac for that. A month after that I got an order for one just like it. My thanks to StewMac for being there. Making my own bridges is time consuming and costs more than the ones from StewMac.

I have others who want one of these too. It seems that few people realize that a Baritone Ukulele tunes as the first four of the guitar, which makes it easier for the guitar oriented to play in standard key. Interestingly, I just reviewed the Trade Secret newsletter by Erick Coleman, Jan. 20, 2011 on binding a Gibson fretboard. That was timely. I will bind my fretboard on this Ukulele using this method.
