These screws are not only offered in different sizes but also have slotted heads which are hard to find. Most modern cover screws are Phillips head which do not look right on a banjo that is supposed to look like a prewar instrument.
Screws are screws are screws are screws. What else can you say about these? They're screws.
They're a lot harder to turn that's for sure... I wish they had a phillips head version of this like many guitars often come with. Good for vintage guitar restoration.
I have a Hohner rockwood, I thought that these would not be adjusted, but these have adjusted perfectly!!
All other screw heads on my instrument are phillip head screws and the straight slot does not match up with them
These are a vintage style, standard slotted head. They worked well, but I would have preferred a phillips head screw.
Not a lot to say. C'mon, they're screws for Pete's sake! I like the size of the small ones. Smaller than most. I use 'em on my custom builds as they're less obtrusive.
It's plastic, it's black, it's a truss rod cover! Does the job, looks good too. Though I think StewMac should make more variety of these.
I was replacing the truss rod cover and screws on my 97 Guild D4. I was lucky to find the True American cover. The gold screws were a perfect match and add a touch of class.
