We designed our Precision Router Base and accessories especially for stringed instrument work.
Installation is easy
Unscrew the threaded plasic collar on the nose of the Dremel, and screw on the router base. Fits:

Sturdy, compact all-metal router base made of machined steel, brass and aluminum. It has precision cutting depth adjustment to eliminate guesswork - one turn of the thumbscrew equals .035"/.889mm. The adjustment posts serve as handles for excellent control in guiding the tool. It's great for freehand routing, for inlays, widening fret slots, and more. |
| • | Edge Guide
Adjustable brass guide, it mounts beneath the Router Base with two supplied screws. A thumbscrew adjusts the distance of the roller guide from the axis of the cutter bit, and an allen screw locks the adjustment. Cutting height is set and locked on the Router Base. |
| • | Mini Air Pump
A gentle air stream helps keep the routed or cutting area dust-free for more accurate pearl cutting, inlaying, and freehand routing. Includes 4-foot connector hose. This 120 volt AC electrical appliance has a U.S. standard Type A plug with two flat parallel prongs, ungrounded. |
| • | Binding Router Bit
Special carbide-tipped binding router bit is designed for routing precise biding channels. Small diameter is ideal for tight curves and the carbide tip stays sharp longer than steel bits.
