Specs
Martin, Gibson, Collings, Santa Cruz, Huss & Dalton, Sams, Bourgeois and other guitarmakers specify Waverly tuners for their top-line instruments.

Why do the pros choose Waverly tuners?

Smoother, more efficient tuning.
Waverly's renowned gear mechanism is second to none. Waverly tuners feature a proven, precisely machined design ensuring accurate, efficient gear alignment. Nylon worm gear bushings enhance the smooth feel. The result: looseness is eliminated—your guitar plays in tune and stays in tune.

Longer life with less wear.
Waverly's stainless steel worm gear and machined bronze alloy string post gear are more durable than the brass gears used in other tuners.

Vintage details.
The look is right at home on vintage-style instruments. Authentic "Butterbean" knobs (a description coined by the late Martin historian Mike Longworth) are solid brass, not die-cast, with the historically-correct shape not found on other modern tuners.

The sturdy steel baseplates have the authentic 1930s footprint. String posts are vintage-style tapered 1/4"-diameter brass, with press -fit knurled brass hex bushings to fit 11/32"-diameter pegholes. Slot-head mounting screws complete the vintage look; there are no additional holes to drill on many older Martins and Gibsons.

The cure for sweet old guitars with cranky old tuners!
Waverly Relics make your vintage or reproduction instrument look and tune as good as it sounds. The special Relic nickel finish has that authentic "played for 80 years" patina that makes shiny new tuners look out of place on a fine old guitar. Set of 3-left/3-right, with bushings and screws.

Conversion peghead bushings are also available for retrofitting Waverly tuners into larger Gotoh, Grover or Schaller pegholes, without doweling and redrilling. A Stewart-MacDonald exclusive!

Worth every penny!

I installed these on my 2008 Martin D35. I removed the grovers, reamed the holes on the head stock just a tiny bit and the bushings that came with them fit great. I had oreded the oversize bushings just in case, but I did not need them. The screw hole for the grovers matched perfectly with the bottom hole on the waverlys. I drilled holes for the top screws in each tuner. It was very easy to do. And while I had it apart, I polished out the headstock, front and back, and the neck. I also installed a tortoloid pickguard. Now I have a much different looking guitar. Shipping was super fast.

Waverly tuners for my Martin 00M

Last December I was fortunate enough to be in my favorite guitar store,(the local pawn shop) and spotted a Martin 000M with a spruce top. We haggled for a few minutes and it was mine.

Over time the factory tuners were less than I needed (I use a lot of open tunings) so, having seen your add in Acoustic Guitar for years I ordered the butterbean knob set for a solid peghead and had them installed by a local luthier.

These are everything you advertise and more. Just holding them in my hand I could feel the density of the materials promising quality that exceeds description. It is a pleasure to play with the assurance my Waverly's provide. I would have been happy to pay twice the price (but happier not to)

Thank you for enhancing and already wonderful experience with my Martin.

Waverly Butterbeans

I have a well road worn 1980 Martin D35 and the tuners were getting a little tired and so, after some research on the internet I decided to go for the Waverly Nickel tuners with Butterbean knobs.I can honestly say that they are without doubt the best tuners in the world. They do exactly what the company says and look absolutely fantastic.

I had to fill a few holes from the original tuners but I believe if you have the newer Martins the bottom holes line up anyway. The result can be seen in the picture I have added. I would recommend this product to anyone and also to get them in 48hrs to the UK is outstanding

Very good

I bought those tuners to put on a Les Paul guitar I made from warmoth parts and they look stunning. I am sure those tuners will last for a long time because they seem to be pretty solid.
I still need to work a little bit more on my nut to keep better tuning but once it's gonna be done I feel confident that these tuners will old tune pretty good.
Shipping was fast as always.

Waverly upgrade

Bought these tuners to upgrade the stock Martin ones I had on my 2008 OM28V, and they are absolutely awesome! One thing I find curious though, StewMac states that I would need to drill new holes for the bottom mounting screw, but these are a perfect fit. I wouldn't drill new holes in my instrument, but knew I wouldn't have to as I have the Waverlys on my HD28VS slothead, made sure the specs were identical to the solid peghead ones, and basically swapped one over, and the holes line up perfectly so.. nice to know.

Delivery to the UK took 2 days, absolutely amazing service (DHL Express) and even unboxing the tuners was a pleasure. Outstanding quality, absolutely the best IMHO.
Thanks from the UK!

really needed

I was having problems with my guitar staying in tune. Every time I would tune it seemed like my old tuners would slip. I have read a lot of reviews on Waverly Tuners and thought I would try them. They really do what they say about them. Their price is higher, but if you like to keep your guitar in tune you need to try these.
