The ultimate tuning pegs for Mastertones or similar banjos, and for adding a vintage touch to new instruments or fine OM-style guitars.
Vintage-style tapered string post, for proper string angle over the nut.
Old-style hex bushing for a clean peghead appearance. 3/8"-diameter pegholes required.
Peghead washer with tapered underside to help protect the peghead finish.
Machined brass offset gear case with incised vintage 2-band decoration. 4:1 ratio planetary gear design, with brass ring gear and steel pinion gears.
Low-friction bushings and new internal spring for smooth, non-slip operation.
Traditional ivoroid plastic knob with leather washer for proper knob "feel."
These pegs will fit 7/16" to 3/4" (11.11mm x 19.05mm) peghead thicknesses. Tuners are available individually, or in sets of four. They are assembled and inspected in our plant in Montana, USA.
