Ready for your own custom finish
Our high quality unfinished southern swamp ash body is routed for pickups, controls, and wiring channels. Compatible with our necks, bridges and other Tele hardware. Holes for screws and neck bolts are undrilled. Ready for sanding and finishing.

Routed and drilled for 2-1/8" string hole spread. All our traditional Tele bridge, and similar bridges with 4-screw mounting, will fit (mounting holes are undrilled).

Most replacement necks for Tele should fit the 2-3/16" x 3" x 5/8" neck cutout.

The top of each body is routed for two single-coil Tele^® pickups. Other pickup styles will require routing in your shop.

The ash bodies are made of 2 or 3 pieces. #0173 5/16"-diameter string ferrules required.

TeleBody

I had purchased an ash Tele body from Stew-Mac back in 1989 ... have done some routing to accommodate humbuckers ..bolted on a 1970 Fender Telecaster neck and it has been my main guitar since.. No better guitar exists on the planet .. Love it!!

Fantastic

This body is really nice. The only problem I had was the neck pocket was 1/8 inch too short. I had to carve it in so the dimension from the nut to the bridge was correct. Inntonation was perfect after the carving.

Beautiful finish.

Received my Tele body today and what a beautiful piece of wood. It is nicely machined and very well finished. I gave front face a seal with Tru-oil and will decide after that is dry how much filling and sanding to do.
