Built on Peterson's acclaimed Virtual Strobe technology, StroboSoft is the first true software strobe tuner for stringed instruments. It features standard chromatic tuning that's super accurate to within 1/1000 semitone. In addition, its unique instrument tuning mode has a multitude of sweetened preset tunings for fretted and unfretted instruments, including the Buzz Feiten system.

StroboSoft uses your computer's high-resolution display to give you a clear, accurate view of the pitch of your instrument. Included are 12 built-in temperaments, unlimited user temperaments, 27 predefined instruments, 59 built-in tunings, unlimited user tunings, and 38 built-in sweeteners. You can easily create a library of custom preset tunings for any or all of your instruments!
Attention luthiers! In his book The Art of Tap Tuning, Roger Siminoff recommends StroboSoft. It's a user-friendly aid in the process of tap-tuning instrument soundboards, tone bars and backs.
Computer requirements
512MB of RAM recommended, plus a sound card with mic/line input, and 30MB of hard drive space for installation. Internet connection required for product installation.
