Approximate dimensions: 13-3/4" x 20" x 1-3/4" (349.25mm x 508mm x 44.45mm).
Alder has been a favorite wood for solidbodies since the 1950s. Subdued grain that's great for sunbursts as well as opaque colors. This is a 2-3 piece blank.
Swamp ash is a popular solidbody wood, with bold grain that's great for clear or tinted finishes. It's lighter in weight than Northern "baseball bat" ash, for good tone. Being an open-grained wood, filler should be used to level the pores before applying a finish. 2-3 piece blank.
Mahogany is a favorite traditional solidbody guitar wood that's beautiful when finished in clear or tinted lacquer. Mahogany is an open-grained wood, so filler should be used to level the pores before applying a finish. 2-3 piece blank.
