1142-DVD

This DVD has obviously been copied from an ancient video tape. The picture quality is extremely poor. The information is quite basic and can be found in any book or on the internet. There is some good information on basic soldering technique, but you don't need this DVD for that. Get a good book on the subject and you get all the schematics on paper. This DVD doesn't stand up to the usually very high standard of Dan Erlewine's products.

Good Start

Great video. However, the tips herein are great for beginners mostly. Dan is very thorough going through the steps. Only gripe: old video quality...felt like I was watching VHS again.

more please

Lacks real depth. No theory or crazy wiring shown. Super basic

Excellent Resource, easy to understand for beginner. Good refresher for intermediate.

Great Starting Point

After viewing the DVD. I had some good take-aways that I will use in my custom wiring job. The instructions that were given are clear for a person with some prior experience. If you never done electrical work you may need more information in a book format to go-along with this DVD. Thank You for giving good value in this product.
