I broke one of the tuners on my Rogue Baritone Ukulele and these worked great as replacements. I had to widen the pegholes a bit in order to insert the new bushings. It took about a half and hour and now my uke is better than new.
Perfect for modifying my Nashville Resonator ukulele. Thanks.
I've used these on a few recent dulcimers and they seem very well suited for my needs. Light weight so the dulcimer has a balanced feel, nice looking for a nice, elegant touch (I don't want large knobs that look out of place and heavy on a dulcimer sized head), and they keep the instrument in tune. Not to mention the cost is very attractive. I would recommend these for an inexpensive yet accurate tuner for dulcimers.
You cannot beat these tuners for the money. They are quite serviceable and not much more expensive than plain old pegs; a lot easier to tune with too. The extra length helps if you want to but a headstock plate on your uke. Great value for money.
Quality,styling,and price make these winners.
These may be the perfect ukulele tuners; simple, inexpensive, built like a tank, attractive... The long string post is the final piece of the puzzle. I add a head-stock overlay to my ukes, and then end up with a 1/2" thick headstock (like on a guitar). Friction pegs are all but useless, and guitar tuners are too heavy, and typically don't come in sets of 4, and the short post tuners, meant that if you use a headstock overlay, you had to thin the back of the head to the point that you loose that nice transition from back of neck to back of head.
