Friction pegs don't work for me. I prefer a geared peg.
Used them on a flea market baritone uke. Worked fine. Had to tighten the D-string peg several times due to slipping, but it has held very nicely once I got everything lined out.
They are plug and play on my Uku. Love the color
Fit well, look nice, but repeatedly start to slip. This is because the screws loosen, especially on the side where the strings tighten with a counterclockwise twist. Maybe some "loc-tite" on the threads would help.
Put these in a 1919 Oscar Schmidt of poor quality. Found that the holes for the pegs were drilled too large, and filled in the gap with Gorilla Glue. Appears to be holding and working well!
Purchased these uke tuners for a repair and was not sure about them. They were the perfect replacement. Stew/Mac had enough info to allow me to select the right parts. Thanks SM
