10.5mm Round Conversion Bushings

Great product, so easy to fit vintage tuners to a modern headstock. They dont look oversized or out of place.I used them on a relic project recently.

I bought two sets of 10.5mm bushings to convert from 3/8" mounting holes in two Mighty Mite Stratocaster style headstocks to mount 1/4" split shaft Kluson Tuners and the bushings worked PERFECT! They can be pressed in by hand not requiring the additional purchase of a hand arbor press and they still fit snug enough to hold well. NOW- About shipping...PERFECT!!! How did the world ever get along before Stewart MacDonald?

The 10.5 bushings were perfect for my headstock and more importantly, are the perfect flange diameter so that the view from the front is pleasing and in proportion to both the tuner stem and the round string retainer (on my Telecaster).

Bushings fit perfectly in my Art & Lutherie Ami headstock. They're also a perfect fit for the Grover 18:1 Sta-Tite tuners.

Excellent bushings , fits perfectly.
Got them in without using force , still a tight fit.

Bought a set of 10.5 conversion bushings for a Telecaster project. Also bought a brand new set of Fender vintage winders for the job. The shafts on the winders measure .235 while the inner I.D. of the bushing is .262 That is a lot of "play" in there. I would have liked a tighter fit. Yes, they will work, but you may want to measure up your shafts on your winders first.

So I picked a cheap partscaster that would not stay in tune, when i examined the bushings on the vintage type tuners they had been wrapped in paper to fit the late model neck! These bushings solved the problem instantly!

These 10.5 mm bushings fit my Simon & Patrick guitar perfectly.

I recently purchased the 10.5mm conversion bushings to install tuning machines into a neck with larger post holes. The job was done in minutes. A customer came in yesterday and described how his tech had to dowel the holes and re-drill. These bushings are a great product and I keep a couple sizes in stock all the time.
