Grover Roto-Grip Full-size Locking Guitar Machines

Grover lockers are some of the best out there. Guitars go in tune quick, and they stay there. I have never had a set fail one me. Between these and Hipshot, you should have all of your needs covered.

I have put three sets on three guitars in the last few years and I just love them. The Les Paul is just a great fit for these tuning machines. It's one less point to not worry about, staying in tune, with these baby's are just no problem. Peace of mind.

The product seems decent but if you look at the specs tab you will see the differences in dimensions vs. the "original" full size grovers. Why do this? Wouldn't the market for the locking tuners typically be as an upgrade to replace standard non-locking grovers? Why not make them and perfect match and why not offer them in the same finishes - i.e. NICKEL (which I have) is not offered in the roto grip.

At first I thought the roto's were slightly larger but they are actually slightly smaller than the originals - making them slightly larger might make sense to "cover" any marks in the finish left by the originals. But smaller? I can't think of a reason.

I didn't ding the "star rating" but It seems like it would be a no brainer to make them the same exact physical specs for a perfect drop in replacement.

This is an awesome product! It fits perfectly into
A Gibson Les Paul that is already stocked with regular Grover's. But if you install on a Gibson with the original tunning pegs, you will be able to see the top screw holes from the originals.

Great tuners: very easy string change, precise tuning, and keeps by Les Paul in tune even after using the Bigsby a lot and hard during a tune.

Exact replacement for my 12 yr old son's Dot. He did the the install and now he wants one of the guitar kits.

I placed my order on a Friday afternoon, after much measuring, and received them the following Monday. The fit was perfect. I put them on an Epiphone ES175, which is what I use for all my gigs. A lot of guitar for the price. If I need to change any of my other tuners, they will be Grovers! Thanks for the prompt service and the helpful e mail.

I got these as a drop in replacement for my non-locking Grovers. The shaft was shorter than the stock ones but I made it work. They lock but my low E and G will still go flat even after I tightened the philips screw on top of the machine head. But its a lot better than having the stock ones back in. I would recommend them still...

On my Les Paul I replaced the stock Klusons with these, and am really happy with them.
