Gotoh Midsize 510 Tuners with Metal Knobs

I'm writing this because a similar review helped me. These dropped right into my PRS SE soap bar, no drilling, etc, Wonderful tuners and smooth! I have similar tuners on my Taylor 914 (different screw hole, i think, not 100% sure) as well and just love to tune with these-weird I know, but they are that good!

These tuners are the new leaders in the tuner market for me. They superseded Schaller a few years back in their design, finishes and details and let me sleep better when handing off a new build to a client, knowing that they won't lose their plating or begin grinding down the line.

Ive built a number of Les Paul style guitars for myself and clients. Everyone who plays my original sample that I use to show clients agrees with Gotoh as a great choice in tuners. The look and feel of the tuner is excellent ...... while the gear ratio and smooth operation makes tuning a breeze. I am also a big fan of the screw down ferrule rather than the more traditional press in type.

I recently installed Gotoh midsize 510 tuners on my Taylor DN3 acoustic and tuning is more precise and stays in tune. They also look great, I recommend these tuners for a top notch upgrade!

This gotoh is extremely cool... Really smooth action and the look is really sexy... It's perfectly fit into my ibanez PM35 pet metheny model without any wood modification. You only need about 30 mins to install this tuners and then you ready to go... EPIC!!! highly recommended !!! You'll never be disappoint with this 510 gotoh... Thx and God bless Stew Mac...

Superb fit and finish. Crazy smooth action. They look great. Cosmo-black finish is super cool. Fantastic tuners.

Installed these on a 79 gretsch that just wouldn't stay in tune! with a new bridge and these guys, they stay in tune VERY well. Also looks very sleek

These machine heads feel great!
They are super smooth in action and feel great when tuning.
Will definitely be recommended these to customers who are after a good machine head. The cosmo black look great too! Gotoh and Stew Mac FTW!

As always, great service from Stew Mac. These tuners replaced the (not so great/pretty sloppy) stock tuners on my PRS SE Custom Semi-hollow. HUGE IMPROVEMENT! Aside from being kind of artsy-cool-looking, the Gotoh 510 machines are dead-on accurate and hold tune perfectly. I've used other brands on other guitars - these have become my preferred tuning machine.
